Last year, we already reported on the introduction of our compact, modular RS 8xx Serie, which took the concept of cutting quality to the next level by incorporating the "flying cut" technique for all types of tubes.
Our RS 801 has already established itself worldwide in conjunction with our RF 400/600/800 series tube folding machines for manufacturing B-Type tubes, effectively boosting productivity in many locations.
The RS 801 can be seamlessly integrated into your production process, behind any third-party machine, including the speed sensor on a stable base frame, and noise protection enclosure. Our service personnel will carry out this retrofit on your tube folding machine.
Through this retrofit, issues such as flaring of tube ends, deformation of delicate B-Type geometries, entry deformations caused by the blade tip, the occurrence of burrs, or speed limitations resulting from the existing old cut process will be a thing of the past.
The tube is cut at a speed of up to 200 m/min after the forming process is completed. In the concept of the "flying cut" the shuttle is precisely guided to the desired position at a cutting rate of up to 8.33 cuts per second, utilizing our SchoelerBoard², to cut the tube to exact length. This also perfectly synchronizes our retrofittable zone dimple unit ZDL 410 with our cut off units, ensuring precise cutting between two dimple-free zones.
Thanks to the use of a wear-resistant carbide cutter die that can withstand up to 15,000,000 cuts without a single regrind, and cutter blades with a durability of over 3,000,000 cuts, your spare part cost will be significantly reduced.
In addition to outstanding cutting performance, we guarantee a minimal maintenance effort through a true SMED changeover. The pre-assembled profile-dependent cutter die, and the cutter blade can be easily and user-friendly replaced with a single screw.
